Mission & Vision

Our preschool ministry is an integral part of Evangel Church, and we will provide your child with physical care and spiritual training in a fun, safe environment.

We strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children during this small window of time to minister to them as young children. It is a cooperative effort between the church and the home, utilizing the efforts of both parents/caregivers and the church body to effectively reach the children of with the message of Jesus Christ.

Scripture-Based

We teach from the scriptures.

Our goal is to help parents proclaim to their children who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ in order to lead them into a personal relationship with Him. Please review the guidelines in our Parent Manual regarding what to bring, what we provide, what to expect, our check-in procedures, etc.

Volunteers

Our volunteers are a faithful group of people from Evangel who have trusted Christ as their personal Savior and desire to share the love of Jesus with our children. They have been trained and required to complete a background check. We maintain strict teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. To keep everyone healthy, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child(ren) may have.

Are you interested in making a difference in the life of a child? Our teachers volunteer once a month to help lay an eternal foundation built upon the truth of God’s Word. Please contact Hope Medlock if you would like to use your gifts to share the love of Jesus with our preschoolers. It would be a blessing to talk with you about our ministry needs and walk you through the application process and training.
