HOW GOD PREPARED THE WAY - GABRIEL TO ZACHARIAS

      • God orchestrated through the priestly order; casting of lots to bless Zacharias and Elizabeth (Mary’s relative) to provide a forerunner

    • Omnipotent

      • Zacharias and Elizabeth were past the child bearing years

HOW GOD PROVIDED THE WAY - GABRIEL TO MARY

HOW GOD PRESENTED THE WAY - '“AN ANGEL OF THE LORD” TO THE SHEPHERDS

    • His Grace - all poured forth and caused the multitude of the heavenly host to appear with the angel and praise God (v14)

      • These humble shepherds were given the privilege of bearing witness to the presentation of Jesus - the Way!

      • Their shame was removed - grace was poured forth

CONCLUSION/APPLICATION

  • As you gather with family and friends to celebrate Jesus’ birth; be intentional; be deliberate
